Privacy Policy
What Veyso collects, who else sees it, and how long any of it lasts.

The short version
Veyso turns a screen recording into a finished video. To do that it has to hold the recording, and it has to send parts of it to the AI providers that transcribe, describe and narrate it. Those are the two things worth knowing.
We do not sell anything to anybody, we do not run advertising, and we do not build profiles of the people in your recordings.
What we hold
Three kinds of thing, for three different reasons.

What the recording itself contains is your call
The video captures whatever was on screen. If a customer's name, an invoice number or a staging banner was visible, it is in the file. Veyso can blur regions on request, but it cannot know what is sensitive unless you tell it.
The recorder deliberately does not read what you type. Labels come from a control's visible caption, aria-label, placeholder, title, alt or name — never from a field's contents, which is what keeps passwords out of the capture. This is enforced by an automated check that runs before every release.
Who else sees it
Making a video means sending parts of the recording to providers who do the specialised work. Each receives only what its job needs, and none of them is given your account details.

| Stripe | Your payment details, when you add credit. They go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers — we are told only that a payment succeeded and for how much. |
If you run it yourself
Self-hosted Veyso sends us nothing at all. You supply your own provider keys, the footage stays on your machine, and this policy does not apply to it — the providers' own terms do.
How long
Projects and their assets stay until you delete them. Deleting a project removes the recording and everything derived from it.
Account records are kept while the account exists and for a short period afterwards so that billing and abuse questions can still be answered. Anything we are required to keep for accounting purposes is kept for as long as that requires and no longer.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to support@veyso.io and we will answer within 30 days.
Where you are in a jurisdiction that grants a right to complain to a supervisory authority, you can do that instead of, or as well as, writing to us. Supervisory authority: TO CONFIRM.
Analytics
We use PostHog to count how the site and the app are used — which pages are read, which buttons are pressed, where people give up. It is set up to record product usage, not to identify individuals to third parties, and it is not loaded at all until you accept analytics cookies.
